Blogger Event at the Raleigh Hotel

Sears Way put together an result exclusively for local bloggers during Art Basel called the Fine art of Fashion. I got to spend some quality time with local bloggers, including long-time friend, Jen Quillen a.k.a. The Insubordinate Chick.

All the blogger signed this large canvas. In that location were tons of markers to cull from, but I decided to go with my signature colors. Afterward all, it took my husband and I hour to notice shades that we could both hold on.

At that place were several stations including a DIY tabular array with famous practise it yourself blogger Jen of I Spy DIY. Jen is so sweet and down to globe. She helped me embellish jeans given to us from Sears. Stay tuned to see how I fashion the new jeans.

I got to meet other bloggers that were super dainty, including Janet of Outer Sparkle, Leanette Fernandez from Teach Me ii Save, and Melissa Garcia of Consumer Queen.

The Raleigh Hotel roof top on Due south Beach was the perfect location with the most astonishing view of Miami Beach, including the famous Raleigh puddle that inspired an unforgettable season of Chanel bags for their cruise line in 2008. I intend to own ane of these Raleigh inspired bags once I find one at a consignment shop for less than one-half the price. I can however remember the Chanel runway walking the blackness puddle edge. It was unforgettable moment for me getting to run into high style in Miami.

I chose the completely wrong outfit for the outcome. It had been common cold for the last few days in Miami and I did not check the atmospheric condition beforehand. I was dressed for autumn when I should have been in shorts or a summer dress. It was far too hot for my liking! Regardless, my outfit and shoes were a large hit so information technology was worth a little glistening.
